Your Channel Is COOKED After July 15..?

Everything You Need to Know About YouTube’s July 15 Policy Change (Before It’s Too Late)

What is YouTube’s July 15 Update..?

Starting July 15, YouTube will begin improving its system to better detect which content qualifies for monetization.

The primary focus of this update is on fully AI-generated content and mass-producible videos — content that can be created with little to no human input.

This isn’t an entirely new policy. These rules already exist under YouTube’s reused content and monetization guidelines — but YouTube is now taking things a step further by improving its enforcement system.

If your channel was previously approved and follows YouTube’s monetization policies, you’re likely still safe.

The update mainly targets channels that were already ineligible for monetization — especially those with low-effort or non-transformative content.

Here’s what they said directly in the new YouTube Partner Program (YPP) rules:

"If your content looks like it was made with minimal effort, or automatically generated with no original value added, your channel may be ineligible for monetization."

Are You Going To Get Demonetized..?

YouTube’s July 15 update doesn’t introduce brand new rules — it simply means they’re cracking down harder on channels that already shouldn't have been monetized.|

✅ You're SAFE if:

  • Your videos add real value — tutorials, reactions, commentary, storytelling, etc.

  • You use AI voice or tools with transformation — you’re editing, scripting, and giving original input.

  • Your Shorts are have human creativity, with edits, sound design, or insights.

  • You've already been monetized and follow YouTube’s guidelines.

  • You make educational or entertaining content

❌ You’re COOKED if:

  • You rely entirely on AI-generated content (scripts, voice, visuals) with no added effort.

  • Your videos are just movie, anime, or TikTok clips stitched together with subtitle and no new effort

  • You make 100 Shorts a day with the same format, just swapping clips.

  • You reuse content that adds nothing new — no edit, no commentary, no spin.

You Can STILL Make Money Without Showing Your Face.

I really don’t believe YouTube is going to kill all faceless YouTube channels.
They’re not going anywhere.

You can still make money running an edits channel — you just have to do it the right way.

I recently uploaded a free newsletter where I shared how I make $30,000/month with faceless Shorts — not to flex, but to make a bigger impact.
